The One-Time Import feature is a manual process completed by our team. We add gifts from your existing registry to Blueprint. It is available for any retailer, and any changes to the gifts should be made directly on Blueprint.
Users can submit public registries for One-Time import, but they can also submit public wish lists as well (if an online retailer doesn’t have a registry feature, for example).
For the best experience, here are some Best Practices when using One-Time Import:
- Share only your Blueprint Registry with gift-givers to avoid duplicate gifts. We recommend closing your retailer registries once the import is complete.
- Changes made through Blueprint do not update on the retailer registry. This includes gift purchases.
- New gifts should be added to Blueprint directly by using the 'Add to Blueprint' button.
- This import is one-time, and will not update gift details or purchases from the retailer registry automatically.
